Conditions We Treat

Care tailored to whatyou're going through.

Anxiety Disorders

Generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety, and specific phobias. Treated with evidence-based psychiatric medication management and coordinated therapy referrals.

Depression

Major depressive disorder, persistent depressive disorder, postpartum depression, and seasonal affective disorder. We tailor antidepressant therapy — including SSRIs and SNRIs — and monitor response at every follow-up.

ADHD

ADHD evaluation and medication management for adolescents and adults — including inattentive, hyperactive, and combined presentations. Both stimulant and non-stimulant treatment options are available.

Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar I, Bipolar II, and cyclothymia. We prioritize mood stabilization, medication optimization, and long-term psychiatric monitoring to reduce episode frequency and improve daily functioning.

PTSD & Trauma

Post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, and adjustment disorders. Psychiatric evaluation and medication management, with coordinated care alongside trauma-focused therapists when indicated.

OCD

Obsessive-compulsive disorder, intrusive thoughts, and compulsive rituals. SSRI-based medication management is a first-line approach we combine with referrals for exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy.

Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders. Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and evidence-based antipsychotic medication management to support stability, functioning, and quality of life.

Insomnia

Chronic insomnia and sleep disturbances, including insomnia related to anxiety, depression, or other psychiatric conditions. We evaluate underlying causes and offer evidence-based medication management and sleep hygiene guidance.

Other Psychiatric Conditions

We treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions not listed here. If you are unsure whether we can help, reach out — we are happy to discuss your needs and determine whether we are the right fit.

Psychiatric Evaluation & Diagnosis

A thorough 60-minute psychiatric evaluation covering your mental health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. Evidence-based psychiatric prescribing tailored to your diagnosis and history — SSRIs, SNRIs, stimulants, mood stabilizers, and more. Follow-up appointments are available in-person in Sugar Land or via telehealth for patients across Texas, Washington, and New Mexico, monitoring effectiveness and side effects with dosage adjustments made collaboratively.

Therapeutic Support

Supportive psychoeducation and coping strategies integrated into every psychiatric appointment, available in-person in Sugar Land or via telehealth in Texas, Washington, and New Mexico. FAQ

Common questions,honest answers.

Your first appointment is a 60-minute psychiatric evaluation. We'll review your mental health history, current symptoms, medications, medical history, and goals. By the end, you'll leave with a clear diagnosis (or working differential) and a proposed treatment plan — which we'll decide on together.

We accept several major insurance plans. Please contact us to confirm your specific coverage before booking. We also offer self-pay rates and can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement.

Telehealth appointments are conducted over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You'll receive a link before your appointment. All you need is a private space, a device with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. Telehealth is available to patients located anywhere in Texas, Washington, or New Mexico.

Yes — in most cases, initial psychiatric evaluations can be completed via telehealth. If your clinical situation requires an in-person evaluation, we'll let you know before you book. Most patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or mood disorders are eligible for telehealth from the start.

We are a psychiatric practice, not a therapy practice. Our focus is on evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management — with supportive counseling woven into appointments. We're happy to coordinate care with your existing therapist or refer you to one.

Yes, when clinically appropriate. Stimulant medications for ADHD (such as Adderall and Ritalin) and certain anxiety medications are controlled substances. We conduct a thorough evaluation before prescribing any controlled substance and follow Texas state regulations for monitoring and documentation.

Absolutely. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from a psychiatric evaluation. Many of our patients come in with mild-to-moderate symptoms that haven't fully responded to what they've tried before. Earlier intervention typically leads to better outcomes.

Yes. Everything you share is protected under HIPAA and Texas state privacy laws. We do not share your information without your written consent, with limited exceptions required by law (such as imminent safety concerns). Confidentiality is not just a legal obligation — it's the foundation of good psychiatric care.

New patient appointments are typically available within 1–2 weeks. You can check current availability and book directly through Calendly.

We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee. We understand emergencies happen — please reach out as soon as possible if you need to make a change.

If you are in crisis or danger: call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. This contact form is not monitored 24/7 and is not for emergencies.
