Terms of Use

Last updated: June 30, 2026

Medical Emergency: If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, call 911or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. This website is not monitored 24/7 and is not a substitute for emergency services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the ClearMind Psychiatric Care website at clearmindhealthcare.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. No Medical Advice

The content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on this Site should be construed as establishing a provider-patient relationship.

Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical or psychiatric condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this Site.

3. No Provider-Patient Relationship

Submitting a message through our contact form, scheduling a consultation, or otherwise contacting ClearMind through this website does not create a provider-patient relationship. A provider-patient relationship is only established after you have been evaluated in person or via telehealth and have been formally accepted as a patient of ClearMind Psychiatric Care.

4. Appointment Policies

Appointments at ClearMind are subject to the following:

  • New patient appointments require completion of intake paperwork prior to or at the time of the first visit.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee.
  • Telehealth appointments are available to patients physically located in Texas, Washington, or New Mexico at the time of the appointment.
  • ClearMind reserves the right to decline or discontinue care at its discretion in accordance with applicable law and professional ethics standards.

5. Telehealth

Telehealth services are provided in compliance with applicable federal and state laws. By scheduling a telehealth appointment, you confirm that you are physically located in a state where ClearMind is licensed (Texas, Washington, or New Mexico) at the time of the appointment. You understand that telehealth has inherent limitations compared to in-person care and that Dr. Okafor may determine that in-person care is more appropriate in certain circumstances.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the overall design — is the property of ClearMind Psychiatric Care or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written consent.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as Calendly). These links are provided for your convenience only. ClearMind has no control over the content of those sites and assumes no responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearMind Psychiatric Care and Dr. Obianuju Okafor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Site or any content on it. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed $100.

This Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
